This study is an attempt to describe the pedagogical workshops held with Family Health Teams (EqSF) professionals themed violence against women rooted in problematizing pedagogy. It is part of a doctoral thesis carried out in a city in the Northwestern region of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, from September to December 2012. The technique, teaching workshops, was based on problematizing pedagogy and was applied in stages of Charles Maguerez Arc: observation of reality by identifying the problem of practice, development of key points or themes; theory, hypotheses and solutions; application to reality. The results revealed interaction between researchers and practitioners and the desire to build common approaches through dialogue, practical and theoretical knowledge; there was greater integration between the health teams, education sectors and social justice. It was possible to reframe the health care practice, from reflection, to propose transforming actions to promote women receiving, emerged the need for continued work for this theme through Permanent Education.
