It begins by conceptualizing violence in its many facets, and later sexual violence. It describes the changes in the Law on Sexual Offences against the dignity, in particular with regards to crimes of Rape and Sexual Crimes against Vulnerable (Chapters I and II) crimes such as sexual violence which strongly manifest, and which have great impact on health, since, besides generating psychological damage that may subsequently manifest itself in other diseases, allow the spread of sexually transmitted diseases, cause injury and may even lead to death. The scope of specific changes in criminal law and pondering the need for comprehensive measures to reduce violence in general and sexual violence in particular are both questioned.
